Deactivate custom workflow in ax2012

HI,

I'VE created a custom workflow on sales order and it's working properly. but when user tries to deactivate the workflow process it didn't respond. Where should i handle this deactivate process ? any suggestion?

Hi Zohan,

Not sure what you mean by deactivate the workflow. User should not be allowed in any case to deactivate the flow, it's either pre-defined logic that determines if workflow should be activated or not. Take a look at activate change management feature on vendor master, it's used on PurchTable form to activate or deactivate the workflow. You basically need to add condition that will either activate the workflow and get it disabled.

In PurchTable form, search keyword "Workflow" and you will find the references you are looking form.

If user deactivate the workflow on salesorder then no submission or workflow bar will be shown on sales order master.

what exactly is being done in deactivation?

If this in workflow definition setup then possibly authentication issue

could try with system admin and also share any error message from event viewer
