Account Field Ticker Symbol used for NASDAQ Stocks

Hi Team,

I want to get to know the use of Ticker Symbol field in Dynamics CRM which is used for NASDAQ stocks.

Actually what is NASDAQ???

Can anyone give me a little brief it?

    Hi,

    I think/am sure that this ticker box isn't an OOTB feature of CRM.

    In your CRM implementation, Account might be the 'companies'. Few of these companies will be huge and might be listed in NASDAQ - and american stock exchange. (similar to Bombay Stock Exchange in India).

    When a company get listed in NASDAQ, it is identified by a code which is the ticker symbol in your case.

    So suppose you have Account of 'Microsoft' in your CRM then the ticker symbol for that will be 'MSFT'.
