Change Admin Owner in Environment

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to change the admin owner for a Customer Insights environment?

By default, the user who creates the environment seems to be granted admin owner permissions.

We would like to change this to a developer who manages the environment.

I have tried to change this through the CI API but it doesnt seem to be working.

Any assistance is appreciated!

    Halen,

    When you navigate to Admin>Permissions in the Customer Insights interface you are given the ability to add Users to the system.  These Users must be a part of your Azure AD.  While adding new Users you can give the Users a role of Admin, Viewer or Contributor.  If you give a new User the role of Admin they will have the same rights in Customer Insights as the original Admin (Owner).  You can't reassign the Admin (Owner) role from the creator of the CI instance but you shouldn't need to if you assign the basic Admin role.  You might want to also assign the same users an Admin role in Azure AD like Global Admin so they can manage licenses and adding new Users to AD.  I hope that this helps and please respond with any questions.
