Runtime service SSL certificate

Hi,

I completed the binding section as documented in the installation guide for the GP 2015 web Client.

When I reach the screen of the setup of runtime service, the SSL certificate is required. However the choice list is still showing blank ( not recognizing the one that I created in IIS. IIS was restarted as well).

Any idea on how to troubleshoot the root cause?

Thanks

    Hi Sam,

I believe that even when you use a self-signed SSL certificate, it has to placed in a local store, otherwise I don't think the Web client install will see it..

Also check Ian Grieve's blog about the Web Client / services setup :

That list pulls from the Personal store (Certificate MMC snap-in) on your local machine. If the cert's not appearing, export it from IIS, and install it to the Personal store. Relaunch the installer, and it should appear.
