how can i track how ax is calculating the cost on a sales order item?

Dear 

note that we are using WMS, and we are tracking our goods by Site-Warehouse-Location-Inventory Status-Batch-License Plate. Our Item model group is weighted average 

one of our users was complaining about a high cost on several of the sales order , so i am tracking the cost of the sales order from the Inventory >> Transaction 

is there a way to find out where this cost is coming from? i mean i know the system is working Average (prior to inventory recalculation) but the cost of some particular sales order doesn't make sense, 

is there any way i can track where or how this cost was calculated ?

appreciate if you can clarify this , thanks

    Hello,

    My point is, if you find these transactions (those coming from PO or Inv adjustment) here you can dig more in these trx to find what price and charges included in them.

    i can easily see that the cost amount is un-usually higher then the rest of the inventory transactions, but what i am looking for is how do i find out "Why" and where it is coming from ?

    You can take the item and check its inventory transactions, try to take each transaction and make your weighted average cost calculation on an excel sheet, here you might notice where does the cost goes abnormal.
