Dynamics AX 2009 client and Outlook 2013 64 bit - cant send emails from AX

Hello,

we have searched a long time for a cure for this problem, but haven't found any.

Hope that you could help me with this problem.

Computer information

Windows 7 64bit

Office 2013 64 bit

Dynamics Ax Client

Problem is that with 32 bit outlook we can send emails from ax but with 64 bit we can't. it gives us IMAP error.

Any help would be helpful.

I don't think 64 bits office is supported in AX 2009.

I know that ax 2009 is 86 bit version, but it has a client that works with 64bit windows. I think right kńow there are half of offices 64 bit in use. At least in our company. Is there anything we can do?

I don't think it's possible. From system requirements document of AX 2009.

"To use MAPI email together with Microsoft Dynamics AX, the 32-bit version of Microsoft Outlook is required."
