How can I share Atlas reports between users.

Hi,

we are currently using Atlas XL 3.5 for reporting with Dynamics AX 2009. Atlas is installed on the same drive on all machines but we have great difficulty sharing reports between users. If a user is sent a report he ends up amending the AXapta reference to get it to work. Any ideas ?

Reports are generated on Terminal Server environments and laptops.

    Hi Karen.

    Microsoft Excel stores the full path to add-ins like Atlas so what you need to do is make sure all users have Atlas installed in the same folder location.    If it's not then Excel want you to edit links and browse for Atlas.

    Atlas 4 and 5 (for AX2012) do not have this restriction, Atlas can be installed anywhere.

    I checked all the users paths and made sure they were ll the same and most people are fine now.
