I'm working on the data upgrade from AX 2009 to 2012. We currently do not have multisite activated and I am trying to do so in the Upgrade readiness pre-processing in the 2009 system. I have succesfully run the Multisite readiness checks and am able to start the multisite activation wizard. However, once it begins to run it haults with the error: "Warehouse is blank on table Inventory order with Inventory order YX000009" and thousands of other orders. I checked into these records and they are for items sold that do not come out of inventory and therefore were marked with the "Axapta" InventDimId that is blank for warehouse and locations. I have found through research that this value might have changed to "AllBlank" as the InventDimId at some previous upgrade. I am not sure if our problem is related to the fact that ours seems to not have been upgraded or if there is another problem. Any information about changing the InventDimId "Axapta" to "AllBlank" or if there is another problem preventing me from activating multisite is much appreciated.
