Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to report a problem I am facing when attempting to change the filter of a dashboard in Microsoft Dynamics. Specifically, I am encountering an issue where the changes I make to the filter are not saved, resulting in the dashboard retaining its original shape.

In our organization, we heavily rely on Microsoft Dynamics for monitoring and analyzing our business data through dashboards. Recently, I attempted to modify the filter of a specific dashboard to reflect new criteria and preferences. After making the necessary adjustments to the filter, I saved the changes using the designated /Save/ button. However, upon reloading the dashboard or revisiting it at a later time, I noticed that the modifications to the filter were not retained. The dashboard remained in its original state, with the previous filter configuration intact.

To troubleshoot the issue, I tried various methods, such as clearing cache, using different web browsers, and ensuring that I have the necessary permissions to modify dashboards. Unfortunately, these attempts did not resolve the problem, and the issue persists consistently across multiple user accounts within our organization.

Given the importance of accurate and up-to-date dashboards in our day-to-day operations, it is crucial for us to be able to customize and save changes to the filters effectively. I kindly request your assistance in investigating and resolving this matter promptly.

If there are any known issues, workarounds, or recommended steps to address this problem, please provide them. Additionally, if any specific log files or diagnostic data would be helpful for troubleshooting, please let me know, and I will gladly provide them.

Thank you in advance for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter.

Best regards,

Subject: Assistance Needed with Building a Dashboard for a Specific Team of 5 Workers

    Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek guidance and assistance regarding the creation of a dashboard in Dynamics 365.

Specifically, I would like to build a dashboard that displays the performance and achievements of a specific team consisting of five workers. Please note that I am interested in tracking the progress of this specific team and not all workers in the company.

I would appreciate your guidance on the following:

    1. Building the Dashboard: Could you please provide instructions on how to create a dashboard in Dynamics 365 that focuses specifically on the performance of these five workers? I would like to include relevant metrics, charts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively monitor their progress.

    2. Locating the Components: As I build the dashboard, I am also interested in knowing where I can find the necessary components, such as fields or entities, to incorporate the data related to these five workers. Please provide information on where I can locate these components within Dynamics 365.

    3. Filtering and Data Source: Additionally, I would like to know how I can set up filters to ensure that the dashboard displays data only for the selected team members. Is there a way to filter the data based on specific attributes or criteria associated with these workers?

Your assistance in helping me create this team-specific dashboard would be greatly appreciated. Any documentation, resources, or step-by-step instructions you can provide to support me in building the dashboard would be highly valuable.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

    Best regards,
    [Mohamad]

    Hi Partner,

    Considering you are posting in the sales forum;
I am assuming you are using Dynamic 365 Sales and have modified the dashboard filter by change the default view and filter.
So you are experiencing issues with not being able to save the view, or changes on the view not being synchronized to the dashboard.
Please check whether you have created a personal view and whether other users can see the view you have created.

If you are using a customer service application, check the steps in the documentation to make sure it is configured correctly:
