Hi,

Is there a compatibility matrix to Dynamics with active directory version ?

Actually I have a project to migrate active directory, and the client say us the dynamic version does not support Active directory 2012 R2 ?

    Hi, I assume that your AX version is 2012 but it certainly works with Windows Server 2012 R2 Active Directory. Have a look the system requirements here: www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx.

    HI,

    Your question was posted initially on another forum? It has been moved to the AX forum I think as the tags are not used which are mandatory when you create it directly in the AX forum. Are you using Dynamics AX? If so, please specify the exact version. If not, specify which product you are exactly using (AX, NAV, CRM, GP) so I can move it to the correct forum.

    In your profile I found that you posted a message related to AX 2009.

    So your question is likely related to AX 2009. You can find the system requirements for AX 2009 here:

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Windows server 2012 R2 is not supported for AX 2009. So the domain forest should be compatible with Win Server 2008. In the network there can be some additional Windows Server 2012 machines, but the AX 2009 AOS should run on a supported operating system.
