Hi

I am trying to post a re-opened bank account statement ( number 71 ) and I get the following error.

"The Previous Statement 71 has been Re-Opened and must be Closed before subsequent statements can be posted"

Any suggestions, please?

Thanks

    Hello,

You need to close the bank account ledgers you re-opened. To do this you have to pull them into the Bank Statement Lines pane using Suggest Lines Function. Select the date range for the entries you reopened to pull them in. First you only want to close those entries reopened. To do this first delete all the other entries from the Bank Statement Lines pane. Next populate the Bank Ending Balance which is identical to the Bank Last Statement and nothing has change with the balance and then post the reconciliation. The entries you reopened are closed and you can proceed.

    Thanks,

    Steve
