Does Dynamics 365 Marketing mobile channel work with Sequences?

We are looking to send automatic texts through a sales sequence and didn't see this as an engagement option. Wiil subscribing to the Dynamics 365 Marketing mobile channel display the option in sequences or is this specifically for the marketing module?
