Error prompted when increase number sequence

Hi All,

I am having a problem increasing the number sequence for forecast plan.

Largest is 999999, Next is1000000, Format is ######_101

I have therfore ran out of numbers

If I increase the Largest to9 9999999, I also need to increase the Format to ########_61

Increasing Largest is OK but when I change Format I get the following error

One or more references using the current number sequence are not sufficiently long to contain numbers from this number sequence.

Does anyone have any ideas?

    This error message means that length of EDT used for forecast plan id is not long enough. Change length property of the EDT to fix the issue.

    Think twice before changing EDT length: during data dictionary synchronization AX sometimes recreates tables and moves data from the "old" table to the "new" one (insert into .. select from ..), and it can take a way too long in a production database.

    Number sequences can be formatted using letters as well as digits so if you don't mind to have sequence numbers like ABZQPO_101 then you can change the format from ######_101 to &&&&&&_101.

    Hi Mykola,

    Please let me know how can I change lenght property of the EDT to fix the issue. I got the same error "One or more references using the current number sequence are not sufficiently long to contain numbers from this number sequence."

    I appreciate your help.
