Package deployment - IIS reset

Hi,

During the package deployment from LCS to the environment, is IIS reset (restart) definitely a step included?

We found some code deployment issue, however it resolved after we restart the IIS from the server.

    Yes, IIS is shut down in the beginning of the deployment and is started in the end of the deployment.

    Yes.

    After product installation, it is necessary to restart IIS for all changes to take effect.

    Hi,

    Looks like IIS server itself is not stopped when you deploy package, but application pools and sites are stopped.
