HOW to Resolve this issue

Hi Experts,

i Got an Below issue when i Restart the Service in my local system

note:- in my system i have nav 2009 r2 and nav 2013 r2 recently 4 days back i changed the Regedit and i used Nav 2009 r2 and now i done same thing i mean change the Regedit and try to restart the service but i got this error.

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server [DynamicsNAV71] service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.

Can Any one help to resolve this error

    Ramesh,

    Mostly you get this error if you are using same port for both services i.e. 2009 and 2013. Please check the event log it should give you more information about the error.

    Most of the cases this error pop up due to port violation. Check your services and see any of the ports are overlapping with each other.

    You should check your event log for more info. Please, let us know the details. This might be an issue with the ports, but without the details is very difficult to determine.

    As mentioned above check the port for the services, if the port no. is same for the services then you will get that error.
