Solution version increment, would this matter?

Posted on by 71
Hi! I am having an issue right now with the components of a solution.

I have two environments; Sandbox and UAT

I was supposed to make my customizations in the Sandbox instance but I did it in the UAT as I did not double check in the Powerapps that I was in the UAT. I tried export/import  (UAT solution to Sandbox) so that both instance are updated but in the Sandbox instance, it's giving me different kinds of errors.

Now, I'm thinking of just deleting the customized fields from UAT and redoing it in the Sandbox.

However, the version number of the solution in UAT has already incremented to 1.0.0.1

Will this affect things if we export the solution from Sandbox to UAT after I redo my customizations?

Please help! I can't move forward with my other tasks because of this

Solution version increment, would this matter?
    Hi,

    It shouldn't matter.
In my testing, I imported a solution from a sandbox environment with the same version number. The component in the solution is a custom field for a contact entity.
    These two solutions exist independently.

The Custom field from the sandbox environment are added to the contact entity.

    Best Regards,
