Customization on the vendor collaboration portal

Hi guys,

For one of our clients, we require a lot of customizations on the D365 vendor collaboration portal. Has anyone done customizations on the vendor portal. If so, is it stable and what are the issues that might arise because of customizations to the vendor portal. Is it advisable to customize on the vendor portal?

One more question is, how complex is it to customize technically on the vendor portal?
