Notes and Time Line from Leads to Account

Hello,
 
I am having difficulty in troubleshooting how notes and emails attached to a Lead to flow through to the Account.
 
The notes and timeline feed through fine from Lead to Opportunity exactly but not two the Account (that has the same primary email address) and connection.
 
Is anyone in a position to provide guidance and suggestion with this.
 
I have a custom BPF that flows from Lead to Opportunity to Account.
 
Look forward to any advice that can be given.

    Hi Partner,
    I know that we can see notes from lead on the timeline of opportunity if we qualify the lead:
    Show notes from lead and opportunity in the parent account timeline:
    --Like 'Activity rollup type', we can use 'Note rollup type' in the timeline now.
    But you mentioned before: two account(same primary email address)? connection?custom BPF?
    --Can you explain in more detail? Or can you provide screenshots?
