Hi Folks,
We are implementing D365FO for a customer under CSP subscription. We already provisioned the sandbox and currently on xxx.onmicrosoft.com domain. However the customer already have their own Azure Active Directory (yyy.onmicrosoft.com). How to do synch the users from customer's AAD (yyy.onmicrosoft.com) to D365FO AAD (xxx.onmicrosoft.com). Does this scenario is achievable ? If not is there any other solution so the user able to do single sign on in D365FO?
Thank in advance.
Best regards,
I suggest taht you contact Microsoft so that you can move the licenses to the correct AAD tenant. This will save you a lot of trouble in the long run. Otherwise all your users must be added as guest users in yyy.onmicrosoft.com or some things such as Excel integration might not work.
Single sign on and migrating users between AAD tenants are questions that are not directly related to D365FO - I recommend asking in AAD forums / communities about those.
Hi Nikolaos,
Thank you for your recommendation. I will ask Microsoft regarding this matter. However, do you know what is the implication on the billing if we transfer licenses to the customer's tenant? Since currently the licenses are purchased through our company CSP.
Hi David,
unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. But Microsoft will have for sure.
Noted, thank you for your help.
