Hi every one,

i have a old server with win server 2008 + Dynamics Nav 2009(Specific Dev + Report.....)+AD+OFFICE+ Configuration....

I want to transfer all this configuration + Dynamics Nav 2009+ AD to my new Server.

It's possible to use backup server and restore in my new server.

What's the best solution to do this.

Thanks All

    Hi Nirvana

i don't think so that is there any way to achieve it.

You can configure new AD with an existing AD configuration with below link.

    For AD Configuration

Step-By-Step: Adding a Windows Server  Domain Controller to an Existing Windows Server

    blogs.technet.com/.../step-by-step-adding-a-windows-server-2012-domain-controller-to-an-existing-windows-2003-network.aspx

    For NAV Server

To install the NAV Server check the below article.

    Hi Nirvana

you can transfer FSMO roles with the below link.

    www.elmajdal.net/.../Transferring_FSMO_Roles_in_Windows_Server_2008.aspx

For Transfer all object , please open your classic client after that go the object designer and click on all in the  left panel, select all objects and then export the same. On new machine open your classic client and go to object designer and import the same.
