In summary, we will create a link to calendar file and attach it to the link of button.
Outlook and other email clients:
The calendar file needs to be hosted on server, the URL will be something like https://xxx.com/aaa/event.ical (a directly accessible link with extension name.)
(If hosting with OneDrive, you could take answer from following discussion as reference to convert shared URL to be directly downloadable.)
Gmail:
Calendar file is not required, the website given by the second article can generate Google calendar format URL.
