Hi there,

I'm importing an default solution develop to a Sandbox but when im importing it, it gives me this error

Import of solution Default failed. The following components are missing in your system and are not included in the solution. Import or create all missing components and then try importing this solution again.
Error code 8004801d. Help me resolve this issue.
I review the systems and can not add the components missing.
Any thoughts

Hi Mauricio, what components are missing? Can you paste a print screen? It is probably complaining on missing dependencies of other managed solutions. you need to import those.

Hi Mauricio, expand the column "Managed Sol" and you'll see what solutions you need to install first to be able to install that solution you want.

Anyway, it is not a good practice to export/import default solutions. You should create your own solution package with required objects only.

    Thanks for the answer,

I was looking into the solutions but as they are manage it says I cant export it.

Is there a way we can have a phone call o so, for better understanding.

Hi Mauricio, you can open a service request. However, it seems that one of solutions you need to install is adx portals

It looks like you need to install a Portal on your Sandbox as you have dependancies with it in your source solution.

    Hello,

It is not recommended to export/import the default solution. Instead, create a new solution and add all the needed components to it.

As per the import error, the missing components are related to the Portal, thus you have 2 options to overcome it:

    1. Remove the portal solutions from your source environment and then export/import

    2. Install the portal on your destination environment and then export/import
