Posted on by 69

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me.

I am new to Nav and wondering how I can set up a batch remittances send out via email. I was told this cannot happen, which I find strange.

Thanks

    Hi,

are you using the UK localization? If so, there is a standard report for Remittances from the Payment Journal. However it is print-only, that is there isn't ability to e-mail. There are couple of options - Zetadocs add-on which deals with batch e-mailing (licence costs and minimal development costs required to implement), or bespoke development e-mailing the standard report 10.531 (Remittance Advice - Journal).

I will get some of the coders to look into this.

There is a standard report id. 411 vendor - payment receipt.

You need to develop a codeunit  for sending this report to vendor whose payment has been posted.

You can schedule this codeunit in job queue which will check and send the report to the vendor on a recurring basis.

I was looking at more for vendor payments.

for example if a payment run is done on a weekly basis, am I able to send out Email Remittances showing breakdown of their particular payment to the individual vendors?

    I hope that make sense?
