Hi,

Is there a way to have BYOD on a specific data entity new real-time, without the need to schedule the recurrence of 1 min.

I have change tracking on, but we don't want to have a performace hit by running the export every 1 min unneccessarly.

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Hossam,

This is not possible, it is using the batch framework which is running once a minute. This is not a performance issue, but a design choice to avoid performance issues. With the current technology, change tracking is enabled on the SQL server database which is a very efficient engine to handle this.

    Hi Hossam,

Andre has already answered your question. In addition to that, it can be reasonable to set recurrence of the BYOD batch job in regards to average time that the job needed to be performed. You can calculate this time from batch job history and create analyze the average time (i.e. End date/time - Actual start date/time)

    Thanks André and Alireza,

I will check the average time and set it against the recurrence.

Is there another method to achieve near realtime sync with the D365 F&O Database other than BYOD? We are looking for big number of entities and records like GL transactions, Customer Master, Vendor Master, etc...

    Hi Hossam,

Another alternative can be Azure data lake while I am not sure if Microsoft have released entities for GL transactions yet. Please check the following post for more info: docs.microsoft.com/.../azure-data-lake-ga-version-overview
