We have a client that is installing Dynamics AX 2012 and they are using a SQL Cluster. For their SSRS node of the application they are going to use multiple SQL servers and use a NLB (for high availability and load balancing). One of the concerns that they have is publishing reports from the AOT to SSRS. The white paper on this method of deploying SSRS states that the NLB node of the SQL SSRS cluster needs to be where AX points to. One of the concerns is when the system is told to deploy a new report, will this report deploy properly since AX will be pointing to the NLB node and not the actual SSRS node. They also have concerns about assemblies that reside as the individual SSRS nodes behind the NLB node. Are there any special configuration settings that need to be set within AX under the BI/SSRS settings to ensure that this will perform properly?

I have the same question (0)There is a note in the TechNet article "SQL Server topology [AX 2012]" saying:
"Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services are not supported in a failover cluster."

Maybe it will help you.
