Hi All,
We are using D365 Online Marketing/Event modul to create Webinar and Live events in Teams.
This works fine for all users except for one user. For that user the the hook/link/modul just won´t load/work the Teams options.
All users has the exact same licenses, and are using the same browser.
In the video you see it failing, the browser is saying that we have to allow pop-up (all pop-up is allowed) aslo if I login with fx. my user right after it works perfectly.

After the failed Teams load
Nya we are facing the exact same issue as above where when one users creates an event on a machine, he is able to do without any issues but another user (with the exact same permissions and on the same machine and browser) gets the pop-up error and not able to proceed creating an online event using teams. Any solution? We have tried all of the above and checked in different browsers.
Hi Nya,
All our users is on the Microsoft 365 Business Premium licens (witch contains Teams)
The user with the problem is using Teams and have no problem creating Teams meetings/webinar or Live Events, when doing it from the Teams client or Teams Web client.
I don´t think that this issue is just a question of having the correct licens, I think it is a bit more hardcore.
But It is very hard to debug.
Any Ideas on how to debug in at situation like this ?
Best regards
Michael
Hi Michael,
It is recommended to check the license first.
The licenses assigned can be found in Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
To use Microsoft Teams as a webinar provider, you must have a Microsoft 365 license that allows you access to the Teams service.
If you do not have the correct license, you will not see the Teams Meeting, Teams Webinar, or Teams Live Event options as a part of the Streaming providers list.
Not all of them matches, different users different roles.
I´m having a hard time figuring out exactly what rolles needed ?
Best Regards
Hi Michael,
Does the security role of these two users and the license assigned to them match?
Hi Nya,
Sorry for not being totally clear.
All pop-up´s are allowed, and the issue occurs no matter what browser I use.
If I in the video login with my one user then everything works perfectly.
best regards
Michael
Hi,
If the issue has been solved, it would be appreciated if you could click "Yes" to verify my answer.
If there is any further doubt, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Hi,
It seems that the pop-up is restricted by your browser.
It can be set in the Settings of your browser.
As the video showing, you are using Firefox browser.
Here are the steps to enable the pop-up for Firefox.
Open a new browser window in Firefox and click the hamburger menu (three stacked lines) in the upper-right corner.
Choose Options from the drop-down menu.
Select Privacy & Security from the menu on the left-hand side.
Scroll down to the Permissions section and find the setting Block pop-up windows.
