Login errors trying to View a Management Reporter report in IE

We recently upgraded a client to Gp2016r2 with the latest MR version. What we've found is that when-ever a user generates a report (that is set to render in IE), the user is prompted for their credentials. They enter their credentials yet the login still fails. This appears to be happening to everyone at this client. Any ideas on why this would come up? Users have no issues viewing reports in the Report Viewer.

Hi Bob,

Did you get a resolution for this issue. We are encountering the same issue. All the users are prompted for credentials for every report that they attempt to generate.

I have an open support ticket with MS but no luck. What's strange is that it started working suddenly and then a few days later stopped again.
