Dear D365 Experts,

 

Does DFO has modules on HR and payroll? And can it be implemented in all countries or to certain countries only?

 

Can DFO - HR and Payroll module handle the following requirements?  Appreciate any input related to this.  Thank you.

    Hi Pamski -,

    The HR and Payroll modules can be achieved for all entities. Travel and Expenses Requisition can’t be done in these two modules. For other HR questions, I think some of them are somewhat extensive and repetitive. I suggest you check the official MS doc to break down your specific problem.

    Hi Pamski, you have essentially hit all of the weak points in Dynamics with your questions.

    At a global scale, payroll is not something that's typically done in Dynamics, this task is outsourced to a payroll provider as there's to much variation in local legislation around this for it to be something you want to handle in Dynamics.

    It does have time and expense management which works wonderful from an accounting perspective, however the user and mobile experience is not the best, for HR then then again there's basic functionality available, but if you are serious about workforce management then you will have to start looking for other solutions.

    Digital Architect Group have actually just released 3 products to address these particular areas. Expense Connect, Time Connect and HR Connect, it sounds like they would be perfect for your use case.  Feel free to reach out if you want to know more.
