Before you deal with transfer orders (Inventory) , you should have to setup warehouse , other wise inventory not getting transactions,
Check Warehouse module on
Inventory Setup..
Assembly Setup..
Create Stock Keeping units & location according to your requirements
then do the transfer order it will post
