Run Job Queue Parallely in Single Company

Hi Everyone,

In our company posting of Shipment and Invoicing is done using Job Queue. Also we have created different job queues for posting of different type of sales, like some are only trial sales for which only shipments are posted but not invoice.  Is it possible that we can run job queues parallely in single Company?  As during peak time all posting get stuck in queue.

    Hi

Yes you can run job queues parallely. If it is getting stuck you will need to optimise your code. It must be probably because there is a lot of data to handle and many tasks are performed in the background.

Posting in nav only works in serial mod. You can mimic parallel jobs, but they will just get locked by each other.  I suggest to run nas as close as possible to SQL server. Which means installing nas on same boat as SQL server. One of my clients did this recently and posting speed improved 30 %. You are basically eliminating network bottleneck. They are on 2009. Newer version night haven't different improvements.
