Audit Tracking - Is not capturing purchase order changes

Posted on by 176
I find that the Activity Tracking function in GP does not track Additions or Deletions of Purchase Orders. It tracks the Sales Order Processing documents, but not Purchase Order. What could be the reason for this? Is there any quick way to enable tracking of Purchase Orders?

could you please advice?

Audit Tracking - Is not capturing purchase order changes
    Hello,

You are correct that the Activity Tracking does not track the Additions and deletions of Purchase Orders.

Activity Tracking is tracking my additions when I test this. However, the information that it is tracking does not match up to the PO I Created.

This could have broke or never worked. An older version would need to be tested to determine if it worked there. If it does, then this is likely a bug that would need to be reports to Microsoft.

If it does not work in older version, the functionality was likely never created. In this scenario, a Product Suggestion can be made to possibly get this added in the future.

However, in my opinion, this will never get added or fixed at this stage of the game and you would need to look at alternative tracking options if you want to track this.

    I hope this helps!
