Project Quote Conversion in Estimate stage

Hi,

In AX2012 R2 we could create a project quote, confirm it, then transfer the item forecasts and requirements to a new project.

However, when we try this in AX2012 R3, AX prevents this because the new project is in the Estimating stage.

This prevents transferring items to a new project and seems a fundamental flaw so I suspect either our build is incorrect or there are new parameters we don't no about.

I've checked all the parameters I can find but am now at a loss how to create projects from project quotes.

Does anyone know what is preventing the item requirements from being created in a Fixed Price project in Estimating stage.

. As I say, it works fine in R2

Thank you

M

    Hi,

Have you compared the project stage rules that can be setup in the project parameters?

There might be some different settings in your previous R2 and your new R3 system.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
