The client is eventually going to go to BC by the first of the year. I believe. They do not want to upgrade their GP or bring exchange in house - GP is loaded on all workstations, not a remote server - if they go with MAPI do they have to load 32 bit outlook on all workstations?
For MAPI, 32-bit Outlook would be needed. GP will use Outlook on the client's machine to send the email. Therefore, whatever email account is on the computer itself (set up as default in the Control Panel > Mail > Email accounts) is the email address that the email will be sent from.
