Production protocol -BOM within a BOM-

Hallo guys!

I have a question regarding production protocols. We tell the program to produce lets say a bottle a of wine. This bottle of wine is a bom within a bom, so lit , bottle, label and then the wine( which it has its own bom). Now well, is the system capable , when we ask it to produce 10 bottles to look at the lager, and say ok, in this bin there are enough lits in this other enough bottles etc.. but in this one there is not enough wine, I need actually 5 more liters of wine, but instead of triggering an extra production order for this 5 liters of wine, to triggers a production order for 5000L as I want to have the bin (tank) where i have the wine at at least 4500 L of capacity? and obviously at the same time, yielding purchasing orders lets say for grapes, water and whatever else the wine is made of , so the production order from the beginning can be fullfilled on time?

Thanks again!

Yes , I did that, all were already certified. the problem , after a few hours, was that I was the date, the prod.protocol. "creation" date was after the date that the whole planning was supposed to start. That gave me the error.

You need to make sure that all the BOM versions are certified (MANUALLY).

Can you recheck and attach the exact error screen shot here?

Thnaks, I was playing with that but i started getting errors, couldnt planned because a location was deleted, and although I made sure that no links existed for that location , it kept coming up..Ill forward this problem to some company, then I get now this other problem when I try to run the plan worksheet..really getting sick of it  .. :

NO PRODUCTION PROTOCOL VERSION FOUND FOR VERSION iTEM NO. 01A0006.VARIANT CODE. QUANTITY 20002.DATE 21.02.16 (PROD.PROT.NO.H10011).

How can poissibly one can make sense out of that...no production version found but then it gives me the prod.protocol from that item? it is this prod.protocol. obviously certified and ready to go..

    I just dont get it..

I believe, you can achiev this in NAV. It is designed to meet such requirements.

You need to understand the various planning parameters and setup correctly to get the desired results.

Using Order Multiple, you can achieve this.

Refer following link for better understanding.
