ReportReport

Hi,
I have word doc file which I converted into a container and saved into a container field in a regular custom table. that word file have some content like sometimes text content and sometimes txt screenshots, it could be 3-5 pages.
Is their any option to show that file content into an ssrs report design. I can get that file stream or container into the report logic but not sure how to show that data.

Regards,
Harshit

    Hi Ramesh,
Yes I can extract data from container field but how will show that on report. For ex that word file will be having 4-5 pages with screenshots. So you are saying i need to extract each page and need to show on that report as image.

    Hi Andre,
This SSRS report is already implemented, i just get this requirement to get the file word file and show the file content on the report. This is purchase proforma report generating for a specific purchase order.

    Hi Harshit,

You can also try to ask this question on a SSRS forum. I haven't gotten or heard about this requirement before. What is the type of report about? In case it is an invoice or other external document, have you considered using Electronic Reporting or an ISV on output management?

I think you need to Extract the Word file content (text and images) from the container field.

    Thanks
    Ramesh
