Recording Constituents Being sent Fundraising/Appeal mail in bulk

Using a mail house I are sending approximately 5000 Constituents a physical fundraising appeal request. I want to be able create a to note or activity against each individual constituent recording that they have been sent this fundraising appeal request.

I'm not quite sure how to do this. I know how to associate a constituent with a marketing list but not how to say (in bulk) that they were sent the fundraising appeal request against their individual contact record.

Has anyone done this or something similar in Dynamics 365? Or does anyone know how this could be done.

    interesting, could this be automated as 5000 contacts needing the task added would be very time consuming assign a task to each?

    Hi,

    Then maybe you could consider to create a task via customer journey for each contact.

    It can set the regarding field of the task with the contact.

    Thanks for your response, however my situation is actually not based around a email marketing, but sending our physical mail (not email. I want to be e able create a to note or activity against each individual constituent recording that they have been sent this fundraising appeal request via the traditional post mail.

    Please refer to the following link to know about how to send a marketing email with customer journey, which allows to send emails in bulk.

    Create a simple customer journey (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs

    Then the interaction data with email can be found in the Insights tab of the Contact main form.
