Hi folks,

This is the basic question actually as I'm new to AX2012 -SSRS reports, I'm looking out to display the line number in the report and I'm using the 'Query" as the data source type. So I think I must write some code in Visual basic especially on the design part. Please advise me to achieve this. Your help will be appreciated..

You can use SSRS expression on the text box of ssrs report. RowNumber(..) function can be used as expression for the text box.

Hope it will fulfill your requirement.
