Lead assignment

We are using the marketing dynamics for creating Marketing qualified leads providing the newsletter subscription page and other marketing forms these leads are assigned to the marketing team.

Then we nurture the leads and ask them to submit the interest forms to become sales Qualified leads, these leads are assigned to the sales team.

My problem is if the sales-qualified leads Submit Newsletter they will be assigned back to marketing. is there any way to keep the owner as sales no matter what the customer does?

    Hi, Elly

    Please create a Workflow to achieve your request.

    1. Go to Advanced Settings > Settings > Processes. Create a real-time Workflow targeting at the Lead entity.

    1. Set the “Start When” as “Before record is assigned”.

    1. Add a condition that Owner is the Sales Team. It can be only set with a certain team.

    1. Add a step to cancel the Workflow

    After activating it, the Lead will not be assigned to others if the owner is the sales team.
