I am adding contractual employee in Dynamics AX 2012 with worker type CONTRACTUAL as shown in picture below

and after submitting form (keep in mind that i did not select contract dropdown) it shows worker type BOTH in grid view as shown in figure below

and here its method screen shot given below:

what is the reason behind it and what will be its solution because in database table (HCMWORKER) its showing "Contractual" in field SL_HCMWORKERTYPEID.

I have resolve this issue by adding following line of code in a method which is showing data on grid view. picture of code is given below:-

First of all I would like thank you for answering me. I have checked EMPLOYEMENT HISTORY but it also showing CONTRACTUAL as I have attached screenshot. what should I do to resolve

Hi,

Worker type both shows only if the employee is employee in one Le and contractor in other le.

To confirm in your case, please check the employment history form and see if the worker is assigned with employee and contractor both.
