Table CustDefaultLocation

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I have a problem with this table
I have a customer with an address in the detail, but in this table I have four addresses appear, the last one being the one that appears in the detail. Therefore, at the time of billing, I pick up the first one from the custDefaultLocation table and I do not understand why.
Do you know when or where addresses are inserted in this table? Since it only has partyLocation fields and the customer num

Thank you

Alex

Maybe you have some data corruption, it's hard to say.

That customer has always had an 'A' address for purpose address and delivery. It is the one that is always used. But in the custDefaultLocation table there are four 'B' addresses, one for each purpose (business, company, payment and invoice)

What I do not understand is when or why these records have been inserted, especially those of payment and invoice purpose when they have never had. And more with another address, the 'B'.

    The whole process is standard

Are you sure there are no expired or future addresses as well? If you go to the customer form -> addresses, do you see only one address? If you select that address and go to advanced details, do you see any past or future addresses?

Do you have some custom billing process? Or do you mean that the standard billing process reads from this table? The standard billing process takes the Invoice address that is defined for the customer.

Anyway, CustDefaultLocation stores 0-1 addresses for each different address role for this customer (delivery, invoice etc).
