Employees unable to bring up expense report receipts in EP

Employees (user and approver) are unable to open expense report receipts in EP.  AP / System admin personnel can see them in EP and the rich client.  This appears to be a security issue but we are not able to determine what we are missing.  Any help would be appreciated.

Click on link under Description and user gets "Document management directory does not exist"

Click on file name or open document and get a blank web page.

    Did you ever get a resolution to this?  I'm having the exact same issue.  However, in my case it works correctly in one company but not another.  Thanks.

    Yes.  We resolved it.  We added a default archive directory and it is now working as expected.

    Hi,

    We are experiencing the similar issue in the employee services where approvers are unable to view the receipts and the system gives a message "your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded".

    The receipts are stored in DB and not in archive directory

    Santhosh,

    I think, it is a security issue related with Internet explorer. Follow the steps in the below link:
