Hide Advanced Find for specific users?

Is there a way to hide the ability for specific users to use the Advanced Find? Basically we want to hide a specific view from users which I can do with a personal view but they still could potentially pull it up using an Advanced Find filter. We want to restrict access to view the specific data that the view filters will give.

You can specify the view that you want the app designer to display. What about restricting the view in apps accessed by specific users?

to restrict data you need to use security roles and field level security, hiding the advanced find (also because you just need to install an extension like Levelup to open by url) doesn't solve the problem. With the new UI a user can also add the column to the current view and see/export the data.
