Looking to upgrade from current release to latest build.Per: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics/s-e/gp/hot_topic_mdgpupgrade_415
It looks like we can go from: 18.00.0496 to 18.4.1361 and then 18.4.1361 to 18.5.1556
Is that correct?
You need to be on GP 18.3.1173 or later to go to 18.5.1596 so your path will work or you could upgrade to GP 18.3.1173. Either way will work. I would go all the way to the 2022 Year-End update.
Looking at that hot topic, if on 18.00.0496, you should be able to go to 18.2.1013 or higher, so I'd try to go to 18.3.1173 as Richard mentioned, then to 18.5.1556 or 18.5.1596, based on this note in the blog:
Note: As an example of a supported (tested by Microsoft) upgrade path to 18.5.1556 (October 2022 Release) or 2022 Year-End would be from GP 2016 16.00.0864 or later and GP 18.3.1173 or later.
Obviously, test upgrade best way to know for sure.
