setWidth error when switching off integration tab and switching back

I have an multi-session integration in customer service workspace and within the integration widget there's +/- buttons that use the CIFramework 
'setWidth' API. When the integration initially loads and I have a session tab with my communication panel/widget, these buttons successfully call the API and the widget resizes. However, if I switch to the 'Home' tab and then switch back to my integration tab, when i attempt to use the +/- buttons they no longer work and i get a console error. Has anyone come across this or have a solution? Thanks
