Hi,
We have the data lake feature enabled - on the documentation, it says that the near-real-time change feature is still in preview. Does anyone know or can point me to communications around when this is likely to be released?
Many thanks
leddy
Data Lake in near-real-time is already in GA, only Enhanced Metadata is in preview
Thanks Nuno,
How do I see if it is using near real-time? The Add-In was installed on our production environment before I started here so I don't know what parameters it was setup with - I know there is an "enabled real time" option but how do I see if that it is?
If you have a folder in data lake named ChangeFeed populated with tables, than is enabled.
Thanks again Nuno - we do have a folder call ChangeFeed that has lots of folders/tables but the last modified date/time is a couple of hours ago - if it's near real time would the modified date/time not be closer to now?
From experience, near real time represents 8 to 15 minutes delay between data lake and D365.
Full table export, is around 7h -9h delay.
You can have days of delay in ChangeFeed if table don't have any updates.
When a change is made in a D365 table, Data Lake service write those changes to a file ( CSV format ) in to change feed folder.
In data lake inside D365, you confirm last export date for each table
