There seems to be an issue with new Marketing Trials which is not allowing addition of a portal, especially events portal. Any one else is seeing this issue?

Hi Megan,
Thank you for your reply, it would be great to have more information on how to roll out Event Portal Separately and connect it to Events module. This is really huge change and impacting
My understanding is that you should be able to access the portals through the URLs created as before, the storage is different.
But I thank you for the feedback on this Hakki. When I am back in the office next week, I will work with our content developers to get more thorough information published.

or do we use one of existing portals, and point to that with Angular code? There needs to be more information on this.
Hi Christian,
Thank you for your response. How do we access the events web site then, if it is not in Marketing trial?
Hi Hakki Isik,
As per my understanding, Marketing trails initiated after spring release will no longer contain Dynamics 365 Portals, but the event Portal should work the same way as it was before, only difference is that the portals are hosted on Marketing Service Fabric.
Hope it helps,
Best Regards,
Abhinav sunku.

Hello Hakki,
With the April release we have removed the requirement to use Portals for the marketing application - this was a highly demanded request from many customers who wanted to not acquire a portal license but self-host Pages on different CMS and Event Portal using angular app.
Also with April release we have then removed the free portal license from the Trial. This allows us again to hand out Trials more broadly.
