Currently our customer is using D365 Field Service in separate environments (namely Environment 1 and Environment 2). These 2 environments in backend there are 16 custom solutions on various needs deployed and currently in use. 2 environments ( one for North region and another for south region) were using front-end to perform their day-to-day activities (this will be part of initial release namely R2.1).
Over a period of time, customer wants to streamlining process, such that they decides to minimize the multiple solutions and dependencies, they have consolidated all 16 solutions into 4 solutions and that will be using in upcoming release (namely R2.2).
Requirement : With the new solution consolidation activity performed (i.e., 4 solutions) we need to migrate those 2 environments from R2.1 into this new release R2.2 without impacting their day-to-day activities i.e., we need to bring data (master and transaction data). Also need to fit them into new environment without breaking entity relationships, customizations etc. (with the support of 4 solutions). So, what would be the approach to migrate this? If you could share your inputs would be helpful.
In summary, users who are bringing from R2.1 environment need to fit into the R2.2 environment with consolidating solutions (i.e. 4 solutions) also their data need to migrate into upgraded environment.
