Hi,

How could I specify specific warehouse to conduct master scheduling?

The master scheduling query does not seem to have dimension filter.

Sincerely,

ABTS

    Hi ABTS,

If you want to include specific warehouse to master scheduling, you need to remove tick mark on "Manual" field.

You can access it from inventory management setup.

    Hi,

My opinion please do not run the master planning warehouse wise. It has to be run on a global basis when you run the master planning warehouse level there are certain configuration in master planning where you can transfer requirement from one warehouse to another so your master planning will come wrongly.

    Thank you gentlemen,

On our DAX, there are multiple sectors operating on a single instance.

At that time, we would like to limit master plan to operate only on particular site in order to maintain independence among different sectors.

How could I achieve such goal?

    Sincerely,

    ABTS

The only way to show what want for a specific warehouse is to run the master scheduling then to edit it in the grid, here you can specify which warehouses information you want to see and process.

Once you have done this if you select planned orders again it will show all the ones that have not been processed yet and you can edit in grid again

If you do not set the other sectors up with master planning it will not pick them up. However I am not sure this meets your need for independence. Do you mean one sector plans and none of the others plan?

I would suggest you configure planning to run where you want (warehouse=manual or coverage group=manual suggests no planning) and then filter the results to show only the results you want.

    Hi Steven,

Could you please verify the statement below?

"The coverage group can be set and assigned to products hence only relevant products are planned on designated warehouses on the coverage group"

    Sincerely,

    ABTS

    Hi

By this I mean that you setup a coverage group of type manual, which means planning ignores it.

From the item and the planning action pane you have the item coverage where you set these by the dimension group elements like site or warehouse. Where you want planning not to run you set this to the manual item coverage record and it will not plan for it at this site/warehouse. Or you can set it on the planning fasttab of the released item with no defined item coverage and the item will not be planned at all.
