We have created a new entity in our CRM and since we would like to have an auto number ID, we have also created an entity to be able to manage auto number ID for this entity.
This Counter entity let us set a text prefix, then the number.
A workflow is adding the ID to each new recording, and increment the number in the Counter table. All this is working fine.
My problem here is that the ID is looking like this : "INT-100 003"
And the search engine isn't working. If i'm searching for INT-100, I can find results. If I enter either INT-100 003 or INT-100003, I get nothing at all.
Can I get rid of the space in my IDs ? Is it the reason why the search engine can't find it? (I guess so, but better ask first...)
Thanks in advance for your help !
Hello,
I would say - check locale settings of a user on behalf of who workflow is get executed and configure personal settings of that use to remove spaces in formatting of whole numbers.
In order to do that do following:
1. Log in as a user on behalf of who workflows are executed.
2. Click on "Gear" button on the top of the app and choose "Personalization Settings".
3. In appeared form choose "Formats" tab and click "Customize" button there.
4. Stay on "Number" tab and in "Digit Group Dropdown" choose the bottom one and click "Apply".
Test your workflow - spaces should not appear anymore.
