The summary update for the product receipt of purchase order  and the packing slip of sales order x failed. Make sure that both orders are configured to use summary update.

Any idea what causes this? Is there a good manual about intercompany setup? Including printing of packing slips in the intercompany company for delivery delivery?

The settings. There are 2 intercompany sales orders on 1 load.

Original Purchase Order Vendor summary update settings:

    Hi ,

I am also facing the same problem. The given suggestion has cleared the issue ?

I could not fix it. Dynamics AX lacks a lot of proper documentation...

We had the same issue and fixed it.  Maybe not be the same problem but worth a try.  Something called the TradePackingJournalTrans was seeing two packing slips on the sales side rather than one.  Our solution on our two line order was to pack each line separately.  So go with quantity picked and delete a line or whatever you need to force it through. Then pack again and it should post. You end up with two or more packing slips but at least it works.

    Hi Konrad

Can you please elaborate it, because I'm facing same issue.

    Thanks in advance

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. My suggestion involved changing the default on the pack form to quantity picked and then in the lines area remove any extra lines and then pack. Then do the same process again until all the picked items are packed. Not a great solution but it seems to work for our orders that get stuck with this error.

We found the issue to be the "Ship alone" parameter on the item included in the sales order packing slip in the selling company.

Untick "Ship alone" and the problem is resolved.

    Just for reference.

We had the same issue posting a packing slip.

All IC settings were correct. After checking the cause was that the sales order lines had a different incoterm (FCA / DDP). After correcting this all went ok.

    Maybe it helps someone.,

    Kind regards, Willem

    Hi Willem,

I'm having same issue. Can you elaborate more what did you correct on your incoterm?
